Infrastructure Engagement Lead

We’re looking for a passionate and collaborative Infrastructure Engagement Lead to join the Engagement & Product Owner (EPO) team, part of our wider InfoSec & Infrastructure Tribe!

As Infrastructure Engagement Lead, you'll play a key role by representing the ‘front door’ of Infrastructure - building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, working with Infrastructure teams to understand the impact of new initiatives, and empowering Infrastructure Leadership to make informed decisions on priorities and roadmaps based on clear reporting.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a people focused, fast paced environment within technology. We’re ideally looking for someone who has experience working in a project management environment, with a passion for communication, data organisation, and continuous improvement. A background in Infrastructure is desirable, but not essential for the role.

Your team

The EPO team manage a wide and varied Infrastructure product set that underpins Business technologies, with focus on supporting both internal demand and the wider business in delivering initiatives that require support from UK&I Infrastructure. We work with stakeholders, project managers and Infrastructure teams to ensure we’re always delivering the highest value first.

What you’ll do

  • Responsible for maintaining relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure visibility of upcoming initiatives.

  • Analysis of all new projects/planned initiatives to determine impact on Infrastructure and Workplace functions.

  • Identify internal and external dependencies for new projects/planned initiative.

  • Support resource allocation and optimisation based on priorities and technical dependencies.

  • Responsible for facilitating quarterly roadmap planning and retrospective sessions

  • Maintain the single source of truth on projects/planned initiatives timelines and delivery team allocation.

  • Focus on continuous improvements across the objectives and key results by ensuring that highest value work is prioritised.

  • Support team collaboration across technical and commercial groups to deliver fast and efficient outcomes.

How you’ll do it

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain complex technical challenges in a simple and effective manner.

  • Structured thinking and a clear ability to plan and deliver outcomes.

  • Builds strong relationships with key stakeholders based on mutual respect, openness and transparency.

  • Ability to lead and influence teams to successful outcomes.

  • Gives honest, direct feedback to team members and stakeholders to help resolve issues quickly.

  • Open to see change as an opportunity and thrive in a fluid environment.

  • Experience of delivering technology through multi-disciplinary teams using agile and lean software development methods

  • Good understanding of project management and ability to prioritise work effectively.

  • Passion for seeking efficiencies and improving how things are done through collaboration, automation, and tooling.
