Programme Manager 12 Month FTC

Your team

As Programme Manager in our Transformation Tribe, you'll be working within an innovative, fast paced, exciting and highly rewarding organisation. This is a pivotal 12-month FTC role, which will see you working with people across the wider business change teams, you'll be responsible for supporting the Head of Programme in shaping, planning and implementing strategic programmes across the UKI division.

What you’ll do

As Programme Manager you’ll:

  • Act as a focal point between the business and the Head of Programme on the programmes within your remit.

  • Providing support on major transformation programmes for a number of central initiatives, ensuring requirements are understood and prioritised accordingly, managing and maintaining elements of the programme, driving the development and delivery from kick off through to live.

  • Prevent, identify and proactively remove blockers to enable progress for teams.

  • Drive cross functional communication and coordination to ensure that dependencies are understood and well managed in order to deliver the programme successfully.

  • Track progress of initiatives utilising Agile tooling, defining and reporting against key delivery metrics/targets to ensure successful throughput.

  • Ensure stakeholder reporting is complete and that everyone is aligned, with expectations well managed.

  • Managing a programme team and its contribution to the achievement of the programme’s objectives and providing clear direction and support in the development and delivery of the programme.

  • Ensuring the appropriate programme management systems and procedures are established and followed, ensuring best practices in programme management are continually developed and used.

  • Building strong collaborative working relationships across teams

How you’ll do it

  • You demonstrate outstanding leadership skills, ensuring you are seen as a role model and able to influence teams with your knowledge and experience of delivery and Agile ways of working, particularly scaled agile methodologies.

  • You’ll be proficient at managing delivery using agile and more traditional delivery methodologies.

  • You demonstrate approachability, open mindedness and an ability to work well with people at all levels of the business is at the heart of how we work.

  • The role will built around a hybrid way of working, allowing you to work remotely from home but will require travel to Leeds for a once or twice a week for face-to-face meetings.
