Role overview
Flutter UK&I is looking for an exceptionally talented and open-minded Sports Analyst with a passion for problem solving to join the Trading team. This team is the beating heart of the biggest sports betting brands in the UK, Ireland & beyond. In this role, you will leverage data to deliver a compelling Sports experience for customers on Paddy Power, Skybet and Betfair brands. You will use an evidence based approach to co-ordinate cross functional groups and deliver great experiences for key sports events. The ideal candidate will be an individual with high data literacy, intellectual curiosity and strong communication skills.
Some key areas of focus:

Deliver insights projects and package into a compelling data-led story which informs the future strategy of our Sports offering.

Construct and execute experiments that assess the true impact and value of new customer experiences on our sports products.

Report on performance of key sports products and contextualise drivers for key metrics.

Co-ordinate cross functional working groups to deliver great customer experiences on our sports products.

Manage senior stakeholders in Trading and other Flutter UK&I functions to set clear expectations on deliverables, priorities and timelines associated with the sports proposition.

Own bespoke projects from start to finish and manage communications on updates, outputs, etc. with key stakeholders.
Skills we’re looking for:

2+ years of professional experience with a quantitative, analytical focus.

Practical experience in a business environment influencing decision making with data
-
Proficiency in SQL and data manipulation tools (Excel, R)

Excellent communication, storytelling and collaboration skills.
