Join our team as a Lead Engineer and take ownership of ensuring our container platform runs efficiently, securely, and cost-effectively! We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Lead Engineer with a passion for engineering principles and practices, ideally in line with the technologies we use, such as Docker, Kubernetes and Containers in AWS.
Your role in ‘better’
As our Lead Engineer, you'll have the opportunity to work with a global and modern team responsible for the container platform within the Flutter UK&I Division. You'll manage, lead, inspire and empower your team, while also defining and adapting infrastructure delivery processes to ensure efficient performance & clear responsibilities.
As part of our team, you'll have the opportunity to work with modern cloud computing technologies, including networking, storage, containers, and Kubernetes. You'll be instrumental in defining and implementing a strategy for our Container Platform in AWS, while working with our Architecture teams to design a cloud-first approach.

You'll possess strong analytical skills and exposure to managing large-scale multifaceted environments, with a consistent track record of delivering and leading sophisticated software and infrastructure projects in a complex environment.

Experience working in a cloud computing environment and supporting migrations to the public clouds.

You should possess excellent problem-solving skills, be highly organised, and abbe le to handle numerous projects simultaneously.

Ability to communicate sophisticated infrastructure subject matter effectively to stakeholders, including tribe leadership.
