Working within the UK&I finance function, the UK&I Central costs commercial finance team is responsible for financial reporting, analysis, budgeting and forecasting for Corporate costs across multiple brands – Sky Betting & Gaming, Paddy Power and Betfair.
As a Financial business partner to senior team members within UK&I division, this role will demand outstanding business partnering skills with senior management across the business and these relationships will be pivotal to the role.
What you’ll do

Responsible for the preparation of month end accruals and prepayments.

Maintenance of balance sheet reconciliations and submissions.

Prepare monthly cost reviews with analysis of key drivers.

Monitoring, communicating and reporting financial performance both monthly and quarterly to key customers/budget holders as well as providing commercial challenge.

Identify commercial risks and opportunities, and be solution focussed.

Leading preparation of budgets and forecasts across Corporate areas and consolidating brand views into single UK&I outputs for relevant team members.

Involvement in monthly, quarterly and annual accounting cycles and assist with audit queries at key periods.

Continuously challenging and developing the wider Finance team and functional areas to drive continual improvement in reporting and financial visibility and to facilitate strategic and financial decision-making.
How you’ll do it

Qualified accountant with varied and strong experience within fast paced online, digital customer focused businesses

Highly numerate with strong financial and analytical skills

Experience in stakeholder management, always building strong and positive relationships
