Role overview
The Racing Proposition Manager seeks to implement the vision of the Senior Propositions Manager across the brands in our UK&I division. In partnership with the Racing Trading Team and various stakeholders across the UK&I business, the Racing Propositions Manager will assist on ensuring our immediate and future UK&I Racing Trading Proposition is highly competitive and adapted to meet the individual needs of each Flutter brands’ customers.
Key Accountabilities and responsibilities
- This role is a key stakeholder in ways of working between Brand Trading and Core Racing Trading, ensuring each brand’s needs are understood and met.
- Be proactive working with relevant stakeholders to identify gaps in the Racing proposition (new markets, customer journeys, new promotional mechanics, new features) and use a planned approach to deliver against these by working across Core Trading, Brand Trading, Product, Technology and beyond.
- Support the Senior Propositions Manager on all long-term initiatives focused on the evolution of the Racing proposition e.g. the move to a single Racing Trading platform for all UK&I brands.
- Act as key point of contact between Trading & Product in ensuring the SMEs from Trading are involved in all Trading Product Delivery as appropriate.
- Co-ordinate planning for key Racing dates and events, ensuring the customer experience and trading proposition for each brand is brand led.
- Support Senior Propositions Manager on relationship management with external stakeholders such as 3rd party suppliers and those through which we can influence the broader Racing betting industry.
- Based on location, travel to Dublin and Leeds will be expected as part of the role

Introducing the team
The Core Trading Racing team is the only team in the whole of Flutter UKI solely devoted to Horse & Greyhound Racing. The Propositions vertical is devoted to looking holistically at our offering across our brands to deliver a tailored experience to each brand’s customers.
Working across Betfair, Paddy Power & Sky Bet, you’ll be well positioned for building an extensive network across the market leader for horse racing and ensure our horse racing proposition is equipped to keep us in pole position across the market.
This specific role will be key for understanding the behaviour of our customers and their emerging trends to develop our trading proposition and enable allow all Flutter brands to flourish.
Whilst it isn’t necessary that you have a background or understanding of Horse Racing or Sports betting, it is important that you demonstrate the willingness and ambition to learn about the Product and aim to improve it for the customer in everything you do.
