Where you’ll play
Reporting to the Customer Marketing (CM) Data Manager, this key purpose of this role is to deliver the data requirements for all Betfair’s CM campaigns. You will need to have a strong digital and data marketing expertise to provide an outstanding customer experience for Paddy Power Betfair customers across multimedia channels.
You will have experience in delivering multiple projects, fully trained in an advanced campaign management tool (e.g. Adobe Campaign, IBM Watson, Responsys, etc) and continually improving the use of data. While the role is primarily CM data focused, the team will have exposure to all CM as part of the wider team.
How you’ll play it

You will plan, deliver and implement data/targeting for multi-channel customer marketing campaigns based on specific customer segmentation, campaign or customer behaviours.

Work closely with the Data Manager to ensuring effective and timely end-to- end operational delivery of CM programs for all campaigns across email, SMS, push and web messaging.

Work to deliver customer centric automated and triggered campaign programmes for various customer segments and life stages, providing project and stakeholder management were necessary.

Proactively monitor daily feeds, marketing tool performance and CM campaign effectiveness, identifying enhancements and opportunities for automation and scale, co-ordinating a breadth of teams to implement.

Assist with the implementation of segmentation models enabling the delivery of more targeted CM campaigns.

Establish best practices for outstanding deliverability of email, SMS and push across multiple IPs and resolve any delivery issues.

Ability to understand the implementation of sophisticated BI models e.g. customer segmentation.

Excellent at working under pressure and to tight deadlines whilst staying calm, thinking clearly and performing to a high standard with meticulous attention to detail.

Strong communication skills and experience with working as part of a team to achieve goals and deadlines.

Competent in SQL & Microsoft Excel.

Experience of managing business and stakeholder expectations.

While SQL is crucial, exposure to any other programming languages (HTML, JavaScript, XML) are a positive indicator.
