Flutter UKI Proud to Support COTY Partners for 2025

Flutter UK & Ireland (UKI) is delighted to be supporting Flutter’s chosen Charity of the Year partners for 2025, proudly supporting causes that matter deeply to our colleagues.

In Ireland, employees have selected the National Maternity Hospital Foundation as their Charity of the Year.

The Foundation is dedicated to advancing women’s and neonatal healthcare at The National Maternity Hospital, Holles Street, a national centre of excellence where around 7,000 babies are born each year. Colleagues will rally behind a full calendar of fundraising events, helping to fund vital research, innovation, and improved care for women and premature babies, culminating in the Flutter Dublin Charity Ball later this year.

Flutter Chief Executive for UK & Ireland, Kevin Harrington, explained why colleagues in the Dublin offices voted overwhelmingly to support he National Maternity Hospital Foundation:

“Many Flutter employees have a personal connection to The National Maternity Hospital - whether they were born there themselves, have had a baby there, or know someone who has received care at The National Maternity Hospital, so raising funds for its Foundation is a cause close to everyone's hearts.”

“We have almost over 1,500 people working out of our Dublin office and their motivation to engage with the regular fundraising efforts for this Foundation is something I’m really proud to witness personally, and it’s something I hope our colleagues take huge pride in too.”

In the UK, colleagues have chosen Pancreatic Cancer UK as their Charity of the Year. The decision was made following a heartfelt nomination process, with the memory of much-loved Sky Betting & Gaming colleague James Blackburn front of mind for many. Flutter teams across the UK are committed to raising record-breaking funds to support pioneering research into earlier detection and better treatments for pancreatic cancer, one of the deadliest common cancers.

Speaking about the partnership with Pancreatic Cancer UK, Steve Birch, Chief Commercial Officer of Sky Betting & Gaming, tombola and Trading remarked:

“We were overwhelmed by the number of nominations for Pancreatic Cancer UK, and continue to be inspired by the passion colleagues have shown in their efforts to raise awareness and support this charity. It is clear this year-long partnership will continue to hold a special place in our hearts as we remember those touched by this brutal disease every step of the way.”

Flutter colleagues in both regions have embarked on a calendar of initiatives to help raise as much money as possible for their chosen charities, including pop-up staff events, marathon participation, volunteer days and several other key occasions across the year that will have an intrinsic fundraising aspect, culminating in the highlight - the Flutter Charity Ball held in Leeds and Dublin later this year.

Both partnerships form part of Flutter’s global commitment to ‘Do More’ for the causes and communities in which the company operates, with an aim to improve the lives of 10 million people by 2030.
