We are looking for a tech savvy marketeer to join us at Flutter UK & Ireland. As a member of our Customer Engagement team, we want you to put automation at the heart of our workflow processes and drive forward our AI /automation capabilities across key customer marketing channels to improve efficiency, targeting, optimisation and campaign delivery. The role will also support the identification, evaluation and adoption of AI / automated that enhance customer engagement, campaign effectiveness and operational productivity.
The Marketing Automation Specialist supports the planning, execution, and optimisation of customer engagement initiatives across CRM channels and onsite digital touchpoints. This role helps deliver personalised, data-driven communications that improve customer experience, drive retention, and increase lifetime value.
The successful candidate will work with the wider Customer Engagement, Marketing Operations and CRM teams within the brands to best apply operational excellence across key tooling and workflow partners in the delivery of our marketing programme across brands and verticals.
What you'll do
- Support with the optimization of automated customer journeys across email, push, SMS, and onsite personalisation tools.
- Maintain and improve automated marketing sequences, ensuring data accuracy, trigger logic, and operational efficiency.
- Support onsite messaging and personalisation, working with product and web teams to implement targeted onsite modules and experiments.
- Monitor performance metrics and customer behaviour trends, providing insights to improve engagement and conversion.
- Spot opportunities to harness AI and machine learning capabilities within our Flutter UKI Brands and marketing automation workflows to improve personalisation, content creation, targeting, testing and operational efficiency.
- Support the evaluation, testing and implementation of emerging AI tools and features across customer engagement platforms, ensuring appropriate governance and measurement of outcomes.
How you'll do it
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Business Communications or Applied Computer Science (preferred)
- Experience in marketing automation, CRM, or digital engagement roles would be considered beneficial.
- Exposure to marketing automation & CRM platforms with familiarity of basic marketing metrics (e.g., Bloomreach, HubSpot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Braze, or similar), including awareness of AI-driven capabilities such as predictive audiences, content generation and journey optimisation.
- Exposure to marketing tooling and automation solutions (Content Management Systems, Content Management platforms, CRM)
- Experience building or supporting content creation and customer journey at scale
- Demonstrated curiosity and awareness of AI trends, tools and applications within digital marketing, CRM and customer engagement.
- Experience using AI-enabled productivity, content generation or analytical tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Gemini, Claude or similar) to improve workflow efficiency and campaign delivery.
- Ability to evaluate new technologies and translate AI opportunities into practical customer engagement use cases.
