Your team
The role will report into the Sky Gaming Finance Manager & partner the Sky Gaming Head of CVM and their commercial team as well as providing financial insight, analysis and strategic guidance for Cost of Sales. Acting as a key link between finance and operational teams, the role helps drive performance, inform decision-making, and ensure delivery of financial targets in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
The candidate can be based in UK or Dublin, but semi-regular travel to stakeholders in Gibraltar will be required. This role follows a hybrid approach to working, allowing you to combine working from home with working in our modern offices. These discussions are between you and your manager to find the best pattern for you both, while recognising that quality time together is essential for keeping us mission aligned.
What you’ll do
- Act as the key finance business partner to the Sky Gaming Head of CVM, providing insight, challenge, and guidance to drive performance
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning for CVM and cost of sales, ensuring robust and aligned assumptions
- Own and manage cost of sales, tracking performance, and identifying risks and opportunities
- Deliver high-quality performance reporting, translating financials into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders
- Support delivery of customer, revenue, and cost targets through effective spend control and optimisation
- Evaluate investment cases, promotions, and commercial initiatives, including financial modelling and ROI analysis
- Identify and deliver cost efficiencies, working with operational teams and procurement to optimise spend
- Provide finance input into key commercial decisions and supplier negotiations
- Lead month-end processes, ensuring accurate reporting and accountability for variances vs plan
- Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, reporting, and tools, while supporting ad hoc strategic analysis
How you’ll do it
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
- Strong financial modelling, forecasting, and analytical skills, with excellent attention to detail
- Proven ability to influence and partner with senior stakeholders, building strong cross-functional relationships
- Clear, confident communicator able to translate complex financial data into actionable insight
- Proactive, curious, and commercially minded, with a focus on driving performance and continuous improvement
- Highly organised and adaptable, able to manage multiple priorities, navigate ambiguity, and deliver under pressure
